Love this newsletter! I’ve lost site of my hobbies this past year, so I’m excited to get inspired by you and others and find something I can put my energy into that isn’t watching the Great British Baking Show!

I really enjoyed your first newsletter and can't wait to read more. Since the "stay at home" I have taken up so many new hobbies(knitting, needlepoint, mahjong, nail polishing, beading, better cooking) - anything to keep my hands busy. For some reason I need my hands to be busy. I find it very relaxing to be doing something relatively easy that takes my mind in a different direction than the rest of the day. Thanks for sharing all of this. xo

Ooo! Feeling this very much- maybe not knitting but very much deleting instagram "Even activities that should be easy, that I know I enjoy, are impossible to put into practice right now. Is this all a self-indulgent way to admit I’m depressed? I want to be curious and useful. I want to move my body and make art and knit and delete Instagram from my phone. I want to get past this and make a path for myself in this weird world. But I don’t know how to get there." I have a long history of turning hobbies into jobs, including writing on here, and I'm finding the joy of creating remains until I put on my marketing hat and try to figure out how to scream quiet words into all the noise. Very excited to dive into the experts series!
